We are pleased to announce that our Panama City, Florida, franchisees Alison Parker and Lacey Frank are the recipients of the company’s Franchisee of the Year Award, presented by the International Franchise Association (IFA).

The IFA Franchisee of the Year Award is an honor that recognizes franchise owners who make a significant impact on franchised operations and people within their communities.

Parker and Frank, owners of Tutor Doctor Emerald Coast, garnered the award by exhibiting outstanding service to students in their local community and putting together campaigns for Tutor Doctor, including the wildly successful Stock the Fridge that was adapted by communities at the global level. In addition, 2017 Tutor Doctor Tutor of the Year, Cami Smith, works within the Emerald Coast system.

“Alison and Lacey have made a tremendous impact on not only their students but also Tutor Doctor as a whole,” said Tutor Doctor President Frank Milner. “We cannot thank them enough for their dedication and hard work, and we are honored to have them on our team.”

Parker and Frank came to Tutor Doctor in 2015 after a combined total of 25 years teaching second graders in Florida. Realizing the desperate need for a tutoring service in the area, Parker and Frank’s business quickly became a hot commodity for hundreds of families in Florida within months of opening. Now, Parker and Frank continue to help their local towns as well as teachers and students around the world.
