I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard a comment such as, “I saw you driving around town” or “Yes, I have heard about Tutor Doctor - you own that Smart car I saw parked in the lot at Rite Aid!”
I always say that Tutor Doctor is a unique entity in the tutoring industry - from our core values and excellence in the service that we deliver to our culture of passion driven franchisees whose life purpose is to make a positive difference in the lives of those that we help. We stand out amongst all others across the board and are a fine example of our creativity and innovation in “getting them on hello”, which is our Smart Secret - introducing the Smart Car!
I was overseas when I first laid eyes on a Smart Car. I had no idea that 9 years later I would become a franchisee who relied on my “Smartie” as a main source of lead generation.
The Smart Car is a small (and smart) investment (approximately $200 a month) providing tremendous on-going value as it contributes to year-round revenue stream and lead generation.
It is, literally, a moving billboard and can be parked on main highways and in front of schools. Simply driving around town evokes smiles and commentary. I sometimes roll down my window for a quick exchange of phone numbers at a stop sign with a mom or dad interested in our services for their child.
Surprisingly, it is very practical for the franchisee on the go – It’s great on gas, requires low maintenance and you can park anywhere. Don’t be fooled by its size - you can fit all event items within, including a tent, and it even holds tall and long legged people!
I guess you could say that our Smart Secret is out... and about, and very likely zipping around your community already!
