When you are building communities and changing lives, your job will be more satisfying. Daphne Engelken is the perfect example of a franchise owner who embodies their values and principles. When Daphne was looking to go into business for herself, she started looking at the franchise market to find something that would not only be profitable, but would also give her the opportunity to help the children and families in her community.

We were lucky enough to chat with Daphne recently to get her take on choosing a career that will be rewarding and satisfying.  

What is it about the Tutor Doctor culture that attracted you to the franchise? 

It is a perfect business model for the entrepreneurial spirit and success that I have experienced. That we serve families, schools and community services is the frosting on the cake. It’s very rewarding and fulfilling!

I am a team player and believe wholeheartedly that all must be rowing in the same direction to reach goals, create momentum and initiate change. Honesty, conviction and authenticity is how I approach my day, my business and my partners.
