April 24, 2015Taking on a top education franchise can be scary, so we’re often hit with questions to help explain what the next steps are, what success looks like, and what struggles may be expected.
And that’s cool! We want to answer every question that you can possibly conjure up!
So let’s dig into some of these questions!
Opening and Running a Successful Tutor Doctor
How long will it take to get my first client?
That’s always the first question we’re asked. And the fact is that you could have clients knock, knock, knocking on your door before you’re even finished training. But typically, with Tutor Doctor rapid ramp up at launch, you technically could have parents trying to get in while you’re still in training.
What’s the fastest I can get my doors open? I’m ready to get started!
We can tell you’re motivated and ready to get the ball rolling! Well, the fast route to opening helps you get your education franchise open around 40 days in. We spend time training so you have maximum support going in.
We do a foundations training from home, 25 days before classroom training (live training series from training dept), then there’s field training. And business open shortly after you graduate from training.
When will I start seeing profit from my Tutor Doctor franchise?
With the Tutor Doctor being a cash flow business, you get paid before the tutors get paid and with the low-overhead, the minimal amount of capital needed to get started, you’ll see profits start rolling in much faster with this model, than with a typical franchise.
What hurdles will I need to clear within the first period of opening?
Depending on the time of year, franchisees can be overwhelmed for business and not be fully prepared to fulfill the requests. Some people may have no business experience, which also leads to struggles. Some new owners will find they have trouble learning to manage their time since they now have the freedom to create a lifestyle that they love.
However, each franchisee will have a Franchise Field Consultant assigned to them to help make sure these obstacles are overcome swiftly and without your profits being effected.
What would cause someone to fail at owning a Tutor Doctor franchise?
We only accept 1 out of 100 people – we are selective with people who we award franchises to and partner with. So we are an elite group of people that share a common passion of building a successful business while taking care of children –
Key elements to be a success as a Tutor Doctor franchisee are:
- Having an entrepreneurial passion to build own successful business- Enjoy freedom flexibility that comes w that.
So as long as you have all of the above, your chances of failure should be minimal.
