Not to mention, they are stars when it comes to community marketing, getting out and about by holding events and collecting reviews.
This award recognizes the franchisee who takes action and executes a variety of initiatives to generate leads and get the word out about their business. He or she makes the most out of each initiative, does whatever it takes to turn it into a success, and also consistently demonstrates a willingness to share his or her ideas and strategies with others in the Tutor Doctor community.

Known for her cheerful personality and resourcefulness, Kim has been an invaluable addition to the Tutor Doctor community. Kim has brought her extensive experience and expertise in social selling to her franchise business. She generates leads through engaging storytelling on all social platforms. Always willing to give a hand, Kim generously shares many of her best practices with new franchisees, many of whom look up to her for innovative solutions. She volunteers content to the community and helps with social media marketing. Kim frequently features on Global Team Calls, group calls, and performance series calls to help other franchises get things off the ground.

Their marketing innovations include a strong referral network with local businesses such as doctors' offices and family therapists. Their community activities fuels their digital marketing campaigns. And they have a robust lead follow-up and consultation system which produces a high lead-to-sale conversion. They are also active members of the Tutor Doctor community and support Home Office by sharing their strategies and best practices. Rhonda and Scott’s ingenuity, along with their team spirit, is a valuable asset to the Tutor Doctor family.
Adie Twining of Tutor Doctor Central Southampton Salisbury, UK
Despite being a new franchise, Adie has impressed the Tutor Doctor community with his enthusiasm, ingenuity, and relentlessness in promoting his business and the brand. His social media innovations and creative ideas earned him second place for generating Google reviews in 2022. Adie treats his clients and tutors with respect, effective communication, and rewards. He leans on local partnerships and has built relationships with schools and small businesses. Always keen to give back to his community, Adie, along with franchisee Suzie Boon, offer free ESL lessons to Ukrainian refugee children and pays his tutors for volunteering their services. Adie willingly shares his ideas with the community and even inspired experienced franchisees to adopt his tutor reward system.
Joel Vance of Tutor Doctor Knoxville, Hendersonville, and Mount Juliet, USA
In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, innovation is essential for the success of any enterprise. Joel has demonstrated this valuable skill in his franchise, leading the way by showing how to effectively implement SMS drip campaigns to generate new business, re-enrollments, and enhance his client care process. He’s maintained a 5-star rating with over 20 Google reviews generated this year and actively engages in his community with school visits and various interactive initiatives. Joel is always willing to share his efforts and best practices to help his fellow franchisees achieve the stellar results he sees in his franchise.
Barry and Teresa Johnston of Tutor Doctor Surrey & Langley and Abbotsford & Chilliwack, Canada
Barry & Teresa continue to live and breathe our 3 uniques in the local community through a number of their local initiatives to make the brand known in their community. They continue to be creative with how they can consistently get the Tutor Doctor brand in the local community, a few examples are the innovative design for the Tutor Doctor branded Bus they created in order to be able to create their own events and gain attention for the TD brand in the local community! They have also invested in new-enrollment swag bags (approx. $10 or less per) for new clients to get them excited about joining tutor doctor and wearing TD swag in their local schools and communities upon enrolling with them. Barry & Teresa also continue to be committed to marketing their services to many local government-funded agencies they work closely with which has grown to become a major revenue source for their business over the years.
