"Before I began my Tutor Doctor business, I taught Kindergarten for 6 years.  I had two kids that were 18 months apart and although I loved teaching, I felt that I needed balance in my life after my second maternity leave.  I wanted to have a career but I also wanted to spend quality time with my kids.  While looking at many different career paths and jobs, I found that Tutor Doctor was the best fit for me as it I was able to find the balance that I was looking for.  I loved that I was still in the education field and that I was able to help make a difference in a student’s life.  I also loved that I was able to work out of my home based office without set work hours.  My favourite aspect about Tutor Doctor is the flexibility I have when making my own hours as this is something I definitely need with young children. Tutor Doctor has provided me with the support I need to grow my business effectively and efficiently while still being able to enjoy all the special moments of being a Mom".
