Tutor Doctor franchisee Misty Sheffield recently spoke to Cherokee Tribune and Ledger News about her experience with Tutor Doctor. Misty talked to the publication about growing up in Northwest Georgia, and how she transitioned from paralegal to entrepreneur.

After 20 years as a paralegal, the single mother of three decided she wanted to own a business that would involve her children and provide a valuable service to the community she knows and loves.

She decided it was time to branch out to pursue her dreams and chose Tutor Doctor because of its focus on education and commitment to giving back.

Along with her children, she has been opening doors to educate children of all ages and grade levels

"We provide one-on-one, in home tutoring and we do every grade level," Sheffield told the Tribune.  "We provide tutoring from kindergarten all the way through college students and we have adult students, as well, that are going back to school.  We offer all subjects, so I have to maintain a large rostor of tutors to be able to service that."
