The Franchisee of the Year Award recognizes the franchisee who has led our company to outstanding business success and innovation and has consistently demonstrated community commitment and support. The recipient is seen as a role model because of his or her exceptional leadership within the Tutor Doctor family. While years of service within the company are not a prerequisite, the individual must be widely respected throughout the organization for his or her achievements and he or she must be seen as a leader in the business community as well.

Piyush Gupta of Tutor Doctor Peterborough Huntingdon Stamford, UK!

A trailblazer in the UK schools program, Piyush has demonstrated exemplary dedication to growing the Tutor Doctor brand into a household name through excellent customer care. His business has experienced significant growth over the past year and brought additional business through the Looked After Children program and the Council Business to grow revenue by 75% this year. Piyush played a major role in supporting and mentoring UK franchisees and was key in assisting with the National Tutoring Program, the X-Skills Pilot, and the UK Schools Boot Camp. He is always available in the Franchise Development process and provides extremely valuable information to potential future franchisees.

Rob & Lynne Kerrison of Tutor Doctor Cambridge & Norwich, UK

Rob and Lynne are model brand ambassadors, committed to growing Tutor Doctor in the UK through their thought leadership and mentoring other franchisees. Rob and Lynne grew their revenue by 20% in 2022 making huge contributions to the school's task force and supporting their peers with the National Tutoring Program. Often acting as a liaison between the network and Home Office, they were invaluable in helping to develop training resources and sharing knowledge on safeguarding and recruitment policy. With over 50, 5-star Google Reviews, Rob and Lynne are always willing to share best practices and templates with the network and lead team calls on driving tutor engagement and retention. Their commitment to our mission of changing the trajectory of students' lives is unwavering, providing exemplary customer service not only to the families and students they serve but also to the tutors they work with.

Nicelle DePatie of Tutor Doctor Calgary and Area, Canada

Known for her can-do attitude and knack for getting things done, Nicelle is a hardworking, goal-oriented, resilient, consistent, and committed leader keen on building a strong business. She is a consistent top performer and won the Customer Service Award in 2021 with a high Net Promoter Score of 95. In 2022, she went further by being the top-performing business in the network for one-to-one tutoring, with a revenue growth of 10% this year. Nicelle has made immense contributions to the community through the X-Skills pilot and by sharing the best practices for review generation and client care in the Global Team Call and Home Office Training.

Barry & Teresa Johnston of Tutor Doctor Surrey and Langley, Canada

Barry and Teresa have continued to set high standards for all franchisees with their ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit. In addition to their innovative community marketing, they are active in pilot projects to empower other franchisees and grow the brand. They are consistent contributors on Global Team Calls and collaborate with BANG suggestions and feedback. Barry and Teresa are thought leaders and innovators who have demonstrated exceptional leadership within the Tutor Doctor family. They are the first franchisees to expand their territory internationally and are widely respected within the organization for their data-driven business systems.

Bobbi Collins of Tutor Doctor Hawaii, USA

Bobbi is a daring entrepreneur who earned the admiration of the Tutor Doctor family by pioneering growth in Hawaii. She achieved 82% growth this year, has a vast network of tutors on the island with no competitors, and is now leading sales in the US. She demonstrated great entrepreneurial spirit and a knack for identifying opportunities by securing tutoring contracts with the government. Bobbi is always happy to jump on calls with franchisees who need help and generously shares tips on how she secured partnerships with local schools.
